For most of 2020 I made daily posts to this blog. Starting 2021 I decided to trial doing weekly posts instead, hoping that would give me a chance to focus on longer form content.

That experiment … didn't go very well. I found it much harder to publish on a weekly schedule than a daily one. The last post I made to this blog was over three months ago. I also surprisingly wrote more longform (1000 words or more) pieces on the daily schedule.

Given the results of this experiment, this blog will be going back to the daily posting schedule starting today.

The current idea is that daily posts won't show up on the main blog timeline – they'll go to a separate section. Anything notable will be promoted to the main timeline.
