Following yesterday's post on the performance of The Epic of Gilgamesh, I've been listening to some millennia-old music recently.

Specifically I've been listening to Hurrian Hymn no. 6: A fragment of music found transcribed on cuneiform tablets in Syria. According to Wikipedia it is "the oldest surviving substantially complete work of notated music in the world". Here's a performance of it on a Lyre:
